In the first year of my make money online adventures I remember feeling very jealous. Here were all these guys making tons of cash and here I was struggling to make my first dollar. Every day I would watch videos of guys showing off commission snapshots and showing the world how “easy” it was to make hundreds of dollars a day.
It was a slap in the face because I was busting my ass for so long with ZERO results. In fact, I was very close to giving up until I made my first commission of .90 cents 11 months into my journey. I remember the feeling of complete glory. I remember the feeling of complete euphoria. I could not contain my excitement. I told all my friends about the accomplishment but was quickly brushed off. “.90 cents? That’s it?”
I tasted blood. I knew it was possible. I continued to watch videos and it wasn’t very long before I grew unsatisfied once again with my results. Once again, I returned to video after video of the same guys flaunting the same fat ass commissions in my face.
I progressed. slowly. Like Batman trapped deep in the well I grew stronger and smarter by the day. My copywriting skills increased. My marketing savvy enhanced. I could feel I was finally starting to get a “finger-tip-feel” for the industry and what it actually took to make money online.
I still believe if you can make $100 dollars a month you have all the knowledge you need to make a $1000.
I began to see through the lies of the so called internet marketing gurus. These guys claimed to be making thousands of dollars a day with a simple system that only costs $47 dollars (don’t you think it’s weird every one of these programs is $47 dollars?)
Most of this industry can’t think for themselves and there’s a lot of parroting that goes on without anybody questioning jack.
I realized a lot of these guys were boldly lying to our faces about how much money they made. I realized if they were truly making millions of dollars they wouldn’t need to pawn off a crappy $47 dollar program explaining the process.
Of course, when this argument is brought up they dart off into the shadows mumbling something about “altruism.”
The point is, seeing everybody make all this “money” might discourage you from taking right action. I’m here to set the record straight and inform you most of these guys are dead broke. They’ve propped themselves up with fancy videos, photo ops, and photoshopped snapshots of their commissions.
The truth is, the ones who are seriously banking are not in the spotlight. They don’t wear Rolexes and they don’t drive Lambos. They work quietly in the background allowing their actions to speak for them.
Forget about feeling envious. Forget about Jealousy. If the truth was revealed you would be ashamed to be fooled by such smoke and mirrors.
Do the work and worry about nothing else.
